GU10(ish) LED - removal? Three "fins"?

Update:

just had an electrician in to quote for replacing the LED down lighters. I explained that I couldn't get the bulb out and couldn't source a replacement unit.

Do you want me to replace the bulb for you? They are GU10s and they all come out.

Wow, that is tight. Yes, I've also tried another one and that won't shift either.

Wounded DIY pride somewhat salved because the bulbs are either stuck in well 'ard or are not replaceable.

Allegedly the modern ones aren't 12V off a transformer and are brighter, the old ones are now obsolete.

As long as the quote is not extortionate we will soon have new shiny lights.
