We have just got back from holiday and our gas boiler is dead.
Inside there is a circuit board with blown 1A fuse on.
I replaced the fuse, and the new one blew as soon as power was applied.
I cant see anything obvious wrong. I have looked for shorts using a multimeter and for damaged components (e.g. capacitors).
Does anyone have any suggestions before I resort to professional help?
The circuit board appears to be a Halstead 600503 (at least it has 600503 stamped on it, and it is blue as per the following:
