Sorry, wrong. Google does not know everything, whatever you might expect. This is a fairly dynamic website, by its very nature, so google may not have caught up with it.

They are all from there. You can register and bid online, but you will need to collect by Monday.

I accept your apology.

That still doesn't lead to the quoted lots. If you're not trolling you're h alf asleep.

It does with some (at least one anyway) lots eventually, if you wade through all the pages.

So that lot 3457 can be found on page 16 of the Sale Meadow sale.

In the box on the left.

Although why anyone not living locally would want to bid on an auction taking place in a field in Norfolk, for boxes of old junk, is another matter entirely.

They are all there. I put this up as a matter of interest and a subject for discussion, not expecting that anybody would actually want to bid on them. Hence, there was no detail supplied, just the bare facts. Much as Bill Wright throws items out there, for no apparent reason. It appears to have generated some interest, which was the whole idea. The auction site is in fact in the town, not in a field. That is reserved for the agricultural auctions, and property disposals. The company is sometimes featured on Bargain Hunt, the BBC TV programme. They recently offered for sale a signed 1st Edition copy of Darwin's The Origin of Species.

Where people buy crap at inflated prices with other peoples' money and sell it at a loss.

And the equivalent lot in this auction is ....???

Yup, that one. The auction house is guaranteed a profit.

Interesting. A few of the estimates were a bit out!

In both directions. But that is true of any auction, just watch a few of the many auction programmes on TV. And try to estimate accurately yourself.

A few weeks ago, they featured a Charles Darwin Origin of Species signed 1st Edition. It wasn't sold, but that could have been for any of several reasons:

Withdrawn from sale; Failed to meet Reserve; Sold privately; Refused Export License, voiding sale; Found to be fake.

And there might be other reasons.
