The diagonal fillet that's fitted where a flat roof joins the wall, what's it called?
I thought it was an arris, but searching for that seems to turn up larger sized pieces for fencing, then I though firring strip, but that slopes along the length rather than across the width ...
It appears arris rail is indeed what is used.
available in 2" or 3" sizes.
Also known as 'fillet' which is what you may have been thinking of instead of firring.

Thanks, I seem to remember 1" which I can see online from a tiny number of suppliers, but doesn't look like it'll be on the shelves in Wickes.
"Tilting fillet" was the other name in the back of my head, but that seems to be for going under tiles.
