Hi All, This is probably a silly question but, Whilst replacing a brass garden tap, I spending some time cleaning the old pipework etc (copper and brass) before fitting the new tap; it now not only looks good it also doesn't leak! But is there any way to keep it clean and free of corrosion etc?

Spraying it with clear lacquer from the likes of Halfords will put off the evil day for a while.
Fit a plastic one. It will resist freezing far better.

Yeah, but... Pretty not important when it freezes come the winter. :)
