Bit like "life time" guarantees. This is broken - Nah it's dead.
Or generating enough energy to heat a 1000 houses for a year - just to introduce our favourite topic
When they go wrong one of the symptoms is that the water flash boils as you open the tap. This is a very *BAD* thing. It is annoying enough to have air in the CW pipe and get splatted with cold water in the face but the effects of splashing boiling water around are very nasty.
Someone in s.e.d was recently describing this very problem of their fancy boiling water tap attempting to scald their face and hands. ISTR An expensive replacement was required in the end.
