Dust sheets and apprentice

For once I agree with you. However you are seen to lose the argument every time you resort to abuse. I guess you will never learn, hopefully ARW's apprentices will.

My mother and family members did the washing and cooking. I had interests in anything mechanical and electrical, but that is even less likely these days.

I was inept at 16, and yet managed to go to uni.

You have to treat an apprentice as a schoolboy, where he has to be spoon-fed at every stage until it becomes second nature, what we would call common sense.

I didn't have a car at 16.

More of your mindless bullshit;

Not a chance given the dregs most of them are.

Bullshit.

I wasn't, I was doing all the electrical and mechanical repairs at that age.

I did too.

Depends entirely on the individual.

Not with the best of them.

Only fools do that.

I did, an ancient Fiat 500. the 4 stroke one. that was given to me by what used to be called my maiden aunts when they stopped using it.

Not just --. There needs to be a space after it.

One of the most naive ones that started last year threw a wobbly when I made him walk to a pub car park to be picked up at 7am instead of me picking him up at home because he was late coming out the house three days in a row.

Some claim that "I had to let him know I was outside and it was not fair as he cannot go into the lounge in his work boots and look through the window to watch for me etc".

He never let his Dad know what happened. But I did.

His Dad said "Odd how he sits watching CCTV on his mobile phone when he has a driving lesson and is out in seconds of the instructor pulling up"

The hands in his pockets useless 16 year old has gone. Failed a drugs test.

I've never understood why having your hands in your pockets is a problem. Perhaps you could explain?

He's in an adult workplace. If he acts the fool he'll get told off, robustly.

You lose every argument because you resort to abuse. Anyone reading it will dismiss what you say.

Using such words demonstrates your limited vocabulary and an undesirable aspect of your persona. Writing under various socks adds to that perception.
