Don't lend your tools!

Quite. I am one of those. I had one food parcel before Tesco brought in their priority deliveries for the likes of me (I'd never had groceries delivered before) I tried to stop the second week of the food parcel - but was too late. Nor would they take it back. Left a note out saying not required afterwards, as the system didn't seem able to cope with being cancelled.

I was very grateful for that first parcel, as previously I tended to shop most days, so didn't have a stock of food. But plenty toilet rolls. ;-)

Do you yourself know for certain if Jim is still actually getting these free food parcels ?

Or just saying he is, so as to wind people up ?

As if.

Anyone reading this would be forgiven for calling bullshit as it's too ridiculous.

I reminded him about the clamp guide, he came with it today (on the back of another favour he wants).

"Was it bent when you lent it me?"

It so was not!

Good lord.

Then when they want to borrow summat else and you say no they get offended. You might as well say 'Bugger off!' and give 'em summat to be offended about.
