I've just replaced the cold water tank - repositioning to the loft, from the airing cupboard. At the same time I've cleaned out and re plumbed the expansion tank.
Do I need to bleed air out of the 15mm feed from the small expansion tank to the HW / CH circuit? Or will it self bleed? The feed goes into one of those baked bean can type things (technical term). Not sure what that is for.
Also there is a what I presume is a pressure relief valve on top of a bit of pipe by the cylinder. Its marked 10bar 115 degrees C. Is this somewhere that needs bleeding? It has a plastic screw on top which is not tight down, and a plastic Allen key bolt in the side.
Any assistance on the things I should have done after filling the tanks up again would be appreciated.
P.S. The cylinder was not drained and neither the radiators.
Regards
Cliff
