DIY SOS

Hi All

Is it just me, or does the bloke on the Revels advert look like a dead ringer for Billy the Sparky out of DIY SOS?

Orange! But I like Orange!

Is it just me or do a lot of the people applying for help from DIY SOS look like they want to be compensated for their own stupidity and/or fecklessness?

There are some deserving cases, for example when a relationship failed leaving a single parent with children to care for and a house in a mess, but so often it seems my license fee is rewarding people for being bl**dy silly....

let's face it, the programme is aimed at parading and humiliating fuckwits on tv. The odd deserving case is added to pretend it's a caring programme. I ceased watching it when those women who take sledgehammers to walls started to appear, and the bloke who removed and burnt all his internal doors. It should have been a documentary about mental illness.

That's what telly's for. Or at least, so it appears these days.

Rich tossers get a show to themselves on Punt My Shed. I doubt many will be watch tonight's messypode as Matrix III is on at the same time.

I would have thought that makeover shows (and all these casino programmes) were ideally suited to digital bellyfusion where couch potatoes of the Clan Loser variety can interact.

Is there a particular reason that the quizzes that you have to phone into at 50p a minute, have such stupid questions? (Yes, I know that they want callers not genii.)

It's basically a raffle at a quid a ticket, but the have to make it a question/answer so they don't fall foul of the lottery laws.

It's not a lottery because skill is involved ... allegedly.

There is no skill if the winning loser is chosen. Why is the method secret?

Yet another parade of fuckwits. This one up the wall and across the ceiling, guns a blazing.
