DAB adaptors

Yes that was why I mentioned the roberts portable. I have to say its very pleasent, though whether its truly hi fi is anyones guess. There are lots of ways to paste over digital shortcomings like bit rate problems of course, and often these rely on the way the brain interprets things to mask out the problems in a similar way to which dolby and dbx did with tape noise. Hmm, depends on the area, I'd say, after all the standard aerial is hardly ideal for FM either, yet inside a car on my little Roberts you seem to have few problems where I live. Maybe its the way its coupling to the aerial. It could be just a little deaf? Some of those ones you see on offer from makes like Crown and other unknown companies are pretty deaf too. Brian

COugh. Wing-mounted aerials haven't been 'standard' for a very long time.
