Instructions from a web pdf.
"Take the transmitter and its sensor jaw to your mains meter; select the thick round wire from the meter that leads to your house. Ensure there is room around the wire and encircle the wire with the jaw. Connect the display unit power cable to the port on the back of the display and plug into a power socket."

I am in a box on the front wall of my house! There isn't a power socket.
I don't have that model, but I have a CurrentCost Classic. are you sure the display isn't radio linked to the sender? Mine is.
So you would install the display near a power socket inside the house at a convenient position...
Do you really want the receiver in the box on the front of the house, or in the house!?
Surely the transmitter and the display are two different units.

They aren't that bad either. There was a lack of a smiley in the OP so I assume he really was asking a serious question, which leads me to ask (rhetorically) what happened to commonsense?

The display unit can go anywhere in your house (that you *do* have a power socket)
the wired connection from the "jaw" to the battery powered transmitter unit is all that needs to sit near your meter, or consumer unit.
They have had a load of issues with the bridge - partly it not working properly with the classic model (fine with envi) and also some of them using invalid MAC addrs which means certain DHCP servers will not offer them an address (correctly!)
May well be they are holding back for the new firmware
Darren - rather early adoptor of this stuff :-)
Hopefully behind at least a password or it is very easy for tea leaves to watch and see when you have "gone out for the afternoon".
