I know absolutely nothing about the process, or the charging (£) system, but...
A new small retail park opened near here, vet, pub/restaurant, Lidl, Home Bargains and a large Sue Ryder. In the middle of the vaste car parking area, are a series of bays for electric vehicles and charging points. I couldn't really see how the cars would be connected and there were no cars either, but it looked as if there was some payment system to get a charge (electrical).

The Prius is a hybrid and normally charges its own battery. Depending on age, they can't travel very far on the battery alone.
