Cooker - replacing rubber door linings????

Dec 28, 2004 2 Replies

The rubber door lining has gone on my Cannon gas cooker. Is there an obvious DIY replacement, so I can walk into my DIY store and pick something up? what adhesive should one use? I don't know the heat resistant properties of the substances to go for. Also, if anyone knows this, can I swap the door round so it opens the other way

- seems not on the face of it, but who knows. It's all gas, high back with grill, circa 1988.

Thanks, Andy

No.

Have you tried Hotpoint/Creda/Cannon spares?

You'll need the model number.

You might find what you need for the seal at

are several "Universal" seals listed.
