You don't know that there aren't bugs in readers of plain text that create security holes.

It seems a bit silly to be paranoid about a mark-up language and then still use other applications which aren't bug free (e.g. TCP, mail, widows, Linux, MacOS, etc.). I suggest you stop using the internet as there have been and may well still be bugs in the protocol stacks and applications which could allow harm to machines.

We have been at the place of having surtax and supertax before and it didn't work.

Rather than having a sliding scale that disincents entrepreneurs causing them to register their companies in Luxembourg and conduct their personal tax affairs from Monaco, it is far better to have "acceptable" levels (if there is such a thing) and attract inward investment as well as maintaining existing.

I'm not a fan of Microsoft or Murdoch either - not because of what they have achieved but because they don't pursue excellence.

However, the solution is not to penalise organisations like these. It doesn't work. The correct solution is to make it attractive for others to risk take and be creative.. High taxation takes one in the opposite direction.

You can use Outlook without using Exchange.

If you do that, then the News component of OE gets used to do that bit.

We missed the critical bit. The tax goes up to 100% on income (not profit) - and that's world-wide income. ;-)

Matt, Mr Cartmel was pointing the system. What would appear punitive (and shouted from the heavens by your fav rag, the Daily Mail) is not punitive at all.
