You're probably using Internet Explorer with Automatic Image Resizing turned on. If you go to Tools->Options in IE and scroll down you'll find a tickbox for that - turn it off.
Basically, IE is trying to resize the image so it fits on the screen, but as its so large and has text, shrinking it makes it unreadable.
At least, that's what I expect its doing.
