Hi i've got a soild oak floor to lay on a uneven concrete/tile base ove
a 24m2 area with a wood flooring adhesive but would like to insulat under the new floor . Is it best to lay a grout (cement&water mix) to get to floor even the use 6mm insulation boards and then use a levelling compound at 3/4m over the whole area , then apply adhesive and lay floor or do grout (cement&water mix) to get to floor even then use 6mm insulatio boards and then lay 3/5mm ply or a cork underlayment over the whol area , then apply adhesive and lay floor or can i grout (cement&water mix) to get to floor even then use 6mm insulatio boards and apply adhesive directly on the insulation boards and la floor or is there a better way please help me decide the right method. many thank
