The word 'socialist' in their name doesn't mean that they were even remotely socialist in its normally accepted meaning.

The National Socialist German Workers’ Party believed in the state being superior to, and more important than, any individual, whose interests were subjugated to those of the state and the party.

That is the key marker of all socialist parties: "individuals don't matter".

Just saying "that's not true" doesn't change it.

Try looking in a dictionary for what socialist means, I don't think it's what you claim.

They were in fact very socialist in reality with free holiday camps for workers, free medical services for workers, lots of govt construction of the autobahnen etc etc etc.
