Genuine Fairy Liquid can be used very economically. No need for a huge squirt and unlike the supermarket copies, it remains in its original liquid state right to the end, while the cheap stuff seems to turn into a cloudy jelly when it is only half used.

Nothing to do with limescale, but I know someone who has a CPAP machine. She has to clean the facemask (and associated items) daily. She was instructed (by NHS staff) to specifically use only cheap supermarket washing up liquid - since the 'brand leaders' would cause damage over time.
That's presumably because the branded stuff uses components that damage the CPAP face mask and the cheap stuff doesnt.
Doesnt say anything useful about doing the washing up.
Don't forget that 1001 cleans a big, big carpet for less than half a crown.
Shake and vac clogged up filters in a vacuum cleaner so you spent more time cleaning that than you did trying to freshen or clean a carpet. Used once and a lesson learnt never to use a similar product again. :)
A friend used a variant of this type of product that is slightly damp in the packet and is meant to be brushed in and left to dry before being vacuumed up. Unfortunately it was removed before fully dry and when cleaning the vacuum days later the product combined with carpet fibres had tuned to near concrete :(
