I have a narrow window that opens with a cam action to enable cleaning from the inside. It is on the ground floor so can be cleaned from the outside and blocks the view when open. I would like to change the hinge action to a normal side opening action. The hinge mechanism does not have any manufacturer identification on it. Are these hinges fairly universal ?
