the freedom to darwinate oneself is one thing, unfortunately those idiots killed others & ruined other people's lives as well. No sensible person would want to go back to the time they were trying to kill themselves & others on the roads.
Today they get called organ donors.

That will be news to my Mum who had to arrange the funerals of my Dad and her Mother within six weeks of each other after watching them both die from Cancers , at one point they were together in the same Hospital but the wards were single sex in those days so we visited one and then moved onto the other.
I was too young to appreciate what was really going on.

Calm down, Tabbs; I was merely indulging in some rare trollary. I did know idiots that did that, though. The young human mind can be staggeringly stupid.
I am calm. I knew them too and saw the damage. I wasn't so calm at the time.

long and miserable life ?
The only thing that will give you a short happy life is that you are happy for a short time and you die. I don't think anyone would choose this option .
Yes you are, you have a few happy days and you think the best option is dea th ?
Very very odd that you are so free with your thoughts and advice on just how the world should be run, but not capable of running your own life well. I'm very sorry for you.
Perhaps you should join Momentum. They seem to be mostly a happy bunch on TV.
Awww. How sweet; showing your caring side now eh, Dave? :-D
I knew very few people that had 100mph cars back then. Heck, my grandfather had Rover 3.5s, and they could barely manage that, and certainly not down a windy lane.

I knew a scout leader who didn't drink, didn't smoke and never used rude words, but drove a Mini Cooper full of kids at incredible speeds down windy Welsh lanes. Clearly not 100mph, but quite fast enough.
Did he do anything else with kids in a mini ?
No. He was one of the nicest and most considerate people I've ever met, made me feel quite guilty for existing, even at the age of 14 or whatever.
FSVO 'nice'.
Indeed. It is a bit of a vague word.
