What.. As a matter of interest, given the volatility of modern battery types, if an electrical fire does occur on an electric car, have the batteries been tested not to explode or leave toxic stuff on the road I wonder? Brian
Electric car batteries are in an allegedly fireproof steel box. There is an anti-collision switch that is supposed to isolate them in a crash. Having said that, some caught fire on the production line in Japan.
