Hi all
As an update on the Bosch condensing tumble dryer that shuts down mid-program, I was told last night that some steam (rather than just hot air) was seen appearing around the top of the appliance. It is installed under the worktop between panels, so most hot air usually exits in the 2 inch gap between the top of the machine and the underside of the worktop.
Does this help in the fault diagnosis at all?
As posted earlier, I'm pretty sure that the main fluff traps are clear that are accessible from the front of the machine. Tomorrow I intend to take the machine out and investigate the rear. Looking at videos, it appears that good access can be made to the fan, which might be clogged I guess.
In light of the new info, any further pointers appreciated.
Thanks
Phil
