Apoligies if this is not the correct place to ask this.My baxi boiler no longer appears to have a boiler light lit. The heating isnot coming on. It is a Baxi Solo 2 50 PF. I don't have the instructionsfor this unit, and to be honest don't really know much at all about boilers.Could someone please tell me how I should go about trying to light theboiler light? All I can see is a knob that starts at 0, *, 1, 2, 3, 4,5 ,6.I have no idea what this does or if it is important.Thanks for any advice (and please bare in mind I have no practical knowledgeon these things).

yep you're right, once you do it it only lasts for a couple of months then you have to do it again. Don't suppose you know a supplier of the bearings? or how to repack with grease? or the sort of grease?

phone up baxi technical support (details from their website).

I have a solo 3 50 and had a problem with the pump not switching off. I phone the baxi people and they said it was a failure with the PCB. They said it was fairly easy to replace..

so that is what i did and all was working again. The baxi people where very helpful..and i would give them a call before you try anything..
