I just replaced the pressure relief valve, and discovered the nipple between this and the copper pipework is aluminium.
The nipple has corroded and cannot be reused as there are no longer any recognisable threads. Also leaving oxide crap in the threads of the attached pipe fitting so that had to be replaced too.
How can they use this crap?
