I have a good performing Baxi Barcelona ... but today had to change the ignition board for 2nd time .... luckily under warranty.
Are Baxi's particularly unreliable for circuit boards or am I just unlucky, I asked the service guy who did the warranty and he was adamant that they fail no more than any other make.
I will say that their installation manual has good diagnostics in it ... flow charts correctly identified failed boards quickly on both occasions.

As there are not that many of them around. Condensing boilers still only account for about 15% of the boiler market, about to be 100% in another year as the regs change, and there are/were many other makes too. The Barcelona was popular when it came out as it was the first real cheapish condensing boiler, so lots of them should be about, which may be why you see a number of their boards. So, what is the failure rate of boards to what boilers are out there? That is the figure that matters.
