my neighbour is moving and reckons he has sold the house to his sister who intends to rent it out. he has a double garage which has an asbestos roof. he claims the estate agent has told him that if his sister wants to rent it then the asbestos roof will have to go.is this true? surely it`ll cause more damage by disturbing the asabestos sheets.
It's total bollocks.
The estate agent may well have said this, other than stupidity there is no reason why they should have. Estate agents are not the worlds most intelligent beings and one should not breed from them.
It will marginally increase the risk from almost completely zero to very very nearly zero. Either way you have nothing to worry about.
