Perhaps your news provider is spam-checking your posts before accepting them?
Or you're posting to a moderated group, which means your posts actually turn into emails, and the group's moderation email server rejected them.

Assuming Eternal September, ask Ray in e-s.support, sometimes it's deliberate blocking (e.g subject in all caps, or a one line reply including a long quoted message) other times an unexpected rule ...
