Didn't know it was 10 secs. Table saw can mangle a lot of flesh in 10 secs.

You can't easily fit a guard to a table saw with a dado head on it. You can to a radial arm. Buy the radial arm and weld the head so it cant rip.
Wear ballistic gloves, they will stop most things before you lose your hand. It can be hard to untangle the mess though.
The recommended solution is to use a power feeder so that the hands don't need to go anywhere near the cutters.
