Is there such a thing as a clip for 3&E? I'm thinking it might be too wide to fit a 2&E clip?

I seem to remember 2.5mm 2&E are more or less the same size

Any Newey and Eyre branch should have them - and double T&E clips (for two cables side be side) which can also be hard to find):
