2kg SDS mains drill

Hi

Looking for a cheapish 2kg SDS corded drill. I have a big 4kg mofo but it's just too heavy for putting up the odd shelf.

Any good deals about?

Try Wickes. Their two SDSs are made by Kress and they occasionally the odd deal. Screwfix are selling the Makita for £99.

Depends a bit on your definition of cheapish! But the LawsonHIS are doing the (very good and good value) Makita2450X (with extra chuck and set of 20 bits) for 116

They also have an interesting new Hitachi 3 function drill for the same money that claims a 3.2 Joule impact energy.

Toolstation are doing the Dewalt DW566K for 117

Down range a bit and Axminster are doing a Skil (i.e. Budget Bosch) triple pack of 3 functions SDS, Circular Saw and Cordless Screwdriver for 100 all in.

If you want cheap and nasty then Marko are knocking out a variety of NuTool and PowerDevil stuff at conflakes money at the moment.
