Shop Fox Dust Collector Switch Noisy

I just purchase a Shop Fox model D3038 Remote dust collector switch. Its the one with two remotes that many of you have recommended. It worked right out of the box. The power supply on the switch box has a louder than average hum. I can hear it in a quite shop when I am 15 feet ...

Shared shop space in Auburn WA

controlling rust in the shed shop

Except for my bicycle, I've ejected everything that isn't shop-related, though I still tell the kids to "take this to the shed" about half the time. :) My spanking new (March-ish) drill press is starting to rust already.

Shop layout/clean-up project - ideas

, I'm posting a drawing of my proposed shop layout in ABPW. Here's a description of the situation: I have been working on reorganizing the shop and have used the Wood magazine insert with scale models of tools to try to come up with a good set up for my garage shop.
