Convert fluorescent shop light to grow light?

I'd caution the OP to check whether his shop light can handle F40 tubes. We bought some shop lights where i work designed for 32 W bulbs, and they overheated badly on 40's.

Good all-around vacuum cleaners

As much power as a good industrial shop vac but excellent filtration, and doesn't clog the filter due to the cyclonic design. If you see one in a thrift store or used vacuum shop I'd consider picking it up though. nate

Assembly Bench Completed

I believe the intended purpose of the table, as described by its designer, it to be a portable work surface that is (relatively) light, quickly set-up and torn down, and can be easily handled by one person, and also have some of the features of a shop workbench, like under-surface ...

I might have an opportunity to buy one, and I only use one tool at a time but my shop vac doesn't keep up very well.

I see more familiar names than expected!

I'm temporarily w/out a shop, having moved to Tennessee and being forced to cram the contents of my FL shop into a one car garage. Also now relegated to dial up connection... the price we pay to avoid the Dark Side of civilization {term used guardedly}.

Bosch colt?

I think, perhaps, I'll have to get one of= my own for my home shop to give it a try. The tools in my work shop tend = not to be well taken care of, and perhaps that may be part of the reason fo= r my bad experience. I really do like the ergonomics of it. =20 JP

Semi-OT : taping drywall

I don't know if it is stronger or not, but I built my shop over fifteen years ago, and have had not problems with the mesh. No cracks or splits even around door headers, which surprised me.
