Shop lights

Just a note that if you haven't been to the Big Blue place lately, they are now stocking 8' 2 light T-12 fixtures with electronic ballast rated to -20. $55 but you still need bulbs. Mike O.

Shop Guest

Dropped by right after breakfast, walked right up and introduced himself as I was ripping stock for an appliance garage. Hung around for lunch, begged part of my ham sandwich, then left with out so much as "by your leave". Didn't lift a hand, but watched everything closely and appeared to be ...

Shop Hazard

In recent months, I've had to deal with a new shop hazard. It's about the size of a carbide tooth and just as shiny. Rather than sending a small piece of wood flying, though, it sends itself. A table saw doesn't have a conscience, and will bite you if you treat it wrong.

New Shop

shop broom

Years ago I bought a rubber brush for the shop at a garage sale. I used to see something like it at the wood shows. I haven't seen them in years at the shows. Mine is wearing at the collar where it attaches to the pole, and my other one (cheapie version) broke today.
