Go to one of the garage door sites like Clopay and download theire book. All of these doors a close enough that you should be able to figure it out from there

Plumbing nightmare

If it was sufficiently acidic to be dissolving copper, I think I would expect you to see other signs of it, for example green deposits at small leak sites or in limescale.

Connected to Internet but not WWW

In message , Andy Burns writes I used Ping via Turnpike, and that worked fine, with several sites. Most around 22ms. The culprit seems to have been Avast, but I don't know why.

Yes, when the current France->UK link near Dover broke over the winter, some of the news sites picked up the map for the new proposed one and showed that by mistake.
