Lending library for tools

I was taken to the hobby shop on Nellis AFB circa 1968 by an airman neighbor. We rounded a corner and came up on an SR71. I have never seen one human being become so upset over something.

Which adhesive to re-attach sole of shoe?

The shoe repair shop is still in business, so the guy thinks he'll have some fun. He walks into the shoe repair shop and places the ticket on the counter. The cobbler glances at the ticket and says: "They'll be ready Thursday."

My car wouldn't start in the cold and they banged on something and it started

any hack shop which doesn't explain what they are doing and why before getting it approved by the customer before doing it doesn't deserve repeat business regardless of how low the shop rate is. $50/hr? who did this job? a backyard hillbilly with one tooth and a rusty monkey ...

Small Motel Cooling Tower?

My friend LM owns a small sheet metal and fab shop and we've been talking about building a swamp cooler of some sort for the shop because it's very difficult to work in there in this hot weather we're having. o_O TDD

Urine stains on concrete

The plumber's supply shop or the battery shop should be able to sell you some. Hardware shops used to carry acids and Tri-Sodium Phosphate (TSP) but I think they had to drop these cleaning chemicals due to hazardous waste regulations.

Auto Body Shop Rip-Off Attempt

I bet he would have bitched if they would have even charged $ 50 at the body shop to do the same hack. A shop with any reputation is going to do a factory restore job and not Afro-American rig it.

Freud router bit set

A woman walks into a butcher shop and asks: "How much per pound are your pork chops?" Butcher: "2.99 per pound" Woman: "That's expensive. The butcher shop down the street only charges $ 1.99 per pound." Butcher: "Well then.. go buy your chops there!" Woman: "He's out of stock right ...

WTB: T-Square style fence system 26"-30"

Looking for a used but not abused Biesemeyer, Shop Fox Classic, or HTC type channel rail system. Shop size limitations prohibit anything larger than a 26" - 30" (max) rip to the tight of the blade, so rails would have to be 48" to 54" total.
