When driving over to this place you might want to stop at Surplus Computers on Duane (close to Montague), the frontage road to 101. Stopped in there for something else and saw they have 36 inch bar clamps for $3. Not the best quality in the world, harbor freight grade.

call your homeowners insurance company see if they cover K&T wiring... it might bring a visit by the company but thats better than finding out after a fire
