They might if they have a misguided shop manager. I've seen second-hand electrical appliances on sale at quite ludicrous prices in some charity shops, stuff that's offered free on Freecycle etc. every day. Tim

Anyone know what happened to Veritas Sliding Square at Lee Valley?

Single most useful marking tool in my shop, and I turned a friend on to it, only to find that it's not in the most recent catalog, and the web site says "No Longer Available." Anyone know what gives?

prime scam

We use Tesco Club Card points to get discount on Euro Tunnel. The points convert to vouchers (in money) which are worth 3x as much if you use them on Eurotunnel. We've just saved about £200 on a crossing.

how do I cut a mirror to size?

The local glass shop in town will not cut them for free (and I sure as hell do not blame them for that since I do not work for free either)...BUT they charge so little 90 percent of "my" costs is for gas for the truck ... Very cheap ! Bob Griffiths
