Wait until grass needs cutting and find mower does not work and needs to be taken to shop for repair is when you will find shop is up to it's eyeballs with mowers needing repair and you may have to wait 3 weeks to get yours repaired.
Ask around at the hardware store, the barber shop, coffee shop, bar, etc and perhaps someone knows who to call.
I have an outdoor wood furnace, I heat my house, domestic hot water, wood shop and dry kiln all off the same furnace. I have in floor heat under the slab in the shop, it's great.

Since I have some leather, that seems to be a good choice for the hinges, but I'm looking for some ideas on shop-made latches. Doesn't need to look pretty, as these boxes are for protecting small electronic measuring devices that are showing up in the shop.
I have a tube of each of those 3 - and the shop where I spend 2 afternoons a week has sewing machine oil by the gallon (a leather shop with all kinds of leatherworking and sewing machinery)
If I'm in the shop I prefer finishing the day with a smile, as oppossed to being so pissed of at a tool that I leave the shop in disgust. Been there many times though as we can't always go get what we want. Mike M
I did find an LED sentry light That I'll use to replace one on the shop that's disfunctional. ;-) Maybe I should re-word that. The shop is functional. The sentry light on it isn't.
I took the old sash into the shop and they replaced the glass. This took two trips to the shop. Once for them to measure the glass so they could order the replacement glass and then go back for them to put the glass in the sash. Jimmie
