Looking for a thin material to wrap porch beam

Any good tin shop could work 10' precolored steel brake metal. A metal building component shop can do the same up to 30' in a wide assortment of colors. They make gutters, trim, and rake metal everyday ___________________________ Keep the whole world singing. . . . DanG

Source for Asymmetric Oak Entry Door Threshold

Easy enough for a carpenter or millwork shop to make them for you. Sketch it up, fax it over to the millwork shop and have them give you a price. A competent carpenter could make them on the job with a tablesaw and a hand plane. R

Alternative to MacMaster-Carr?

Troubleshooting would be worthwhile if I had to shop there. I will cope, somehow. Or I can just shop elsewhere.

They said take it back to the shop and get your money back. I did. The shop didn't even want to see the letter.

I'm amazed!!! (bit OT)

My girlfriend has just reminded me, that a few months ago she took some flapjacks back to a local shop to complain that they were out of date when she bought them. They cost 52p. The shop sent us a £10 voucher the next week!! _______________________________ Grim Graham

Keyed alike padlocks

My thought was if the shop has 50 of them in stock, and it's a local shop, how do you know the other 46 won't go to other customers who will then have the same key as I have? Or am I missing something?
