I pass a kirby vacuum cleaner shop but nothing or very littel seems to be i n the shop apart from a couple of desks a PC and trays on the floor with va rious test granuals. I've never seen a customer in the shop and although so meone's sitting there it never seems to be open.
I went to my local glass shop and they made me some up at a very reasonable price. I had 4 units made, 2 off 80x50mm and 2 off 50x50mm total price was £40 which I thought was reasonable. No doubt someone here will tell me I was stung though!
Shop called today and said mower service complete. Took it in three weeks ago, well in advance of the season because I learned in the past that if you do it when first needed it would take three weeks as shop is full of mowers.

From what I can see there are 2 types of gun, those which use normal shop 70 - 100psi air and turbine units. From what I read the shop air system uses a lot of air and needs a really large compressor i.e. > 3HP, whereas the turbine units are quite small.
I have some rreally nice pieces of scrap that have been around the shop for 25 years. It has gotten to where the scrap restricts movement in the shop. I am sure that some pieces will never be used but they just look nice.
I do not think I could survive with out a drill press even though I have 3-4 hand drills of various sizes and a couple of cordless drills around the shop...
