An energy first as UK successfully transmits data via national electricity grid

I might be missing something here but just an hour ago I did a favour for a friend and took a card to a shop, gave them some money and they printed out a receipt with a multi digit number on it.

Have you tried B&D's web site? A motor, power tool or small appliance repair shop would likely be the best place.

Interesting auction

pg=details&id=15402&flash=9A couple of years back, I was passing through Des Moines and had a chance to visit one of the wreck regulars who was into solar power and CNC routing. Great shop, nice visit. His web site is down and I'm wondering if he's still around.

Who to order electronic components from?

In the past I have order from JabDog on both their web site and E-Bay shop. The web site is often out of date and delivery times interesting. On E-Bay the shop is always up-to-date and delivery times realistic.

It seems to be good 'value' at around £100 and if you shop around then you can find places that throw in a free pc card.) Colin
