Interesting auction site - thanks for sharing. Their past auctions are available to see some selling prices - - 1 item I noticed was a Lee Valley plane sold for $ 120 new one is $ 270. < $ 335.

Stots Dovetail Master Template

The site with the older gent who reviews tools and, I believe, has a couple of female shop assistants did a two page review. He liked it but he's also a lot more experienced that I am in my late Rookie year.

Which twin shower pump?

Where's Norm's TS spliter

makers of many years experience and it may surprise you to find that a good many of them use splitters on their cabinet saws in the shop. And just about everyone I know with a cabinet saw in their garage/ship uses one. Where I rarely see a splitter is on a contractor's saws on a job ...

Silica Gel

Does anyone know a shop that sells sachets of silica gel, or a cheap thing to buy that has a sachet in? (Argos 16-day-money-back-free-rental-scheme comes to mind). I only want one sachet, and know there must be some lurking around the house, but cannot find one. Bob

Red oak, relative humidity and moisture content

Called the hardwood retailer to ask about MC: he said they bring the wood into the shop at 6-8% MC, where it sits and equilibrates to the local climate until someone buys it. Since I live in the local environment, he said that I should feel free to begin building. Scott

Home Depot - what a bunch of maroons

Because their customers chose, of thier own free will, to shop somewhere else. The mom & pop stores closed because they couldn't compete. Competition is the cornerstone of capitalism. Likely because they weren't making a profit.
