Maybe you could pour some bleach on it (sorry, I was making fun of an
idiot who was here recently).
On top the the advice you already got, make sure you're trying to turn it
in the right direction. Also make sure you hold back on the nipple coming
out of the wall. Also be sure to shut off the water to the valve before
