Whenever I shut the kitchen tap OFF, the pipes hammer in the basement. None of the other taps in the house cause this. What could be the cause? Thanks, Richard

Just start ? Pipe straps are every 6'. No up and down play, but allow it to slide. Its Code. Water PSI in the 50 psi area.
