Refreshing Leach Beds?

Oct 09, 2003 0 Replies

There's a machine I came across that sparked my curiosity. The manufacturer claims to be able to refresh leach beds that have clogged.

The machine blows air in the ground then shoots plastic pellets as fill to prevent the new passageway from closing. Admitted, there's a lot of air here... but I'm not sure it's blows in the direction claimed.

The web site for this equipment

gives an address that doesn't generate a record on their local BBB website.I checked the Yahoo yellow pages for a listing. Not there. So I broadened the search and found an outfit called Northeast Septic Rejuvenators ... at the same address.

Anyone have any experience with this outfit, one of its "contractors", or educated comments on the principle involved?
