Seems to me Kohler cast iron sinks usually come with a small tube of the caulking...more than enough to do the job.

pollyseamseal is very good, it can be shaped with a damp towel. It comes in different colors so you can match the counter-top.
The weight of the CI sink should keep it in place with an ample amount of caulk. You may want to use a non-water base type caulk, such as silicone, to set it. Sometimes water based caulks on CI sinks foster rusting under the rim. Which ever you use, make sure it is well sealed or years hence rust spots may appear around the rim.
