I have an old bowl that was my grandmothers so it is very old. The stem is clear glass but the bowl part is painted red. The red paint is chipping off and it looks terrible so I would like to remove the red paint and just have it all clear. I have tried all kinds of stuff to remove the paint but nothing has worked other that scraping. It is a rather large bowl so scraping will take awhile - like hours. Any suggestions?
