pine chest of drawers looked great with tung oil finish , but now I am wanting to paint it with a light gray flat latex. any prep needed over the tung oil?
Yep, sand, sand and sand again. You'll need that Tung oil out in order for the primer and paint to stick well and as it should. Unless, you're wanting to have bubbles and cracks all over, as the new look.
