Because of trolls, that's why. If you must respond, keep it in COLA.

Who are these trolls fool? And why do you fear them and the truth?

You need a walled garden to debate Linux? Insulated from the real world?

Kind of.

COLA (comp.os.linux.advocacy) is considered the rectum of USENET.

It's main purpose is to siphon off the bottom feeders, radical Linux loons, religious zealots and freaks of the Linux community so that they don't pollute the other legitimate groups.

As you can tell it doesn't work too well.
